Spotlight On: Class of 2020 – Voices from the Pandemic

A Tableau D’Hôte Theatre production presented by the Segal Centre for Performing Arts, Class of 2020: Voices from the Pandemic is a showcase of new theatre school graduates from across Québec whose educational experiences were impacted by COVID-19. Presented live and in person at the Segal from May 24-29, the event will bring together 25 recent alumni from the National Theatre School of Canada, Concordia University, UQAM, John Abbott College, and Dawson College for a series of staged play readings featuring new Canadian works.

In this special spotlight series at the Hub, we ask some of the participating graduates what they most miss about the theatre, what particular challenges they face as the next generation of professional stage practitioners, and what’s kept them inspired throughout the past year.
