Society’s ills got you down? Feeling claustrophobic in today’s interconnected world? If you’re craving a night to let your anxieties and angst melt away, Tuesday Night Café Theatre’s Rant Collective is the place to be! Hosted by established student director Summer Mahmud, our anthology series of excerpts, monologues, and poems centers around collaborative workshops and performances to present minority voices on stage.
Featuring a variety of actors and general themes, topics covered will be gender and minority representation, performance art, feminism, and political activism. Expect passionate performances from our talented cast as they fight oppression through representation!
Week One will consist of three workshop sessions from November 14-16 at 7:00 that will showcase material to be performed!
Week Two will present the full performances from November 21-23 at 7:30.
Tuesday Night Cafe is located in the Islamic Studies Building, located past the entrance facing Redpath Museum. Our space is wheelchair accessible and has gender-neutral bathrooms.
