A Théâtre Incliné (Laval) and Nordland Visual Theatre (Norway) coproduction presented by Casteliers

Nordicité is a quest, which takes the form of a love metaphor. A wandering artist offers an intimate account of her encounter with the North, and of the feeling of vertigo as she faces an immensity she cannot grasp. Nordicité is a visual poem that combines video, projection, music, theatre and dance. It is a journey between myth and reality, and a reflection on our capacity to understand the voices of the North.

Presented at the Festival de Casteliers in 2017, Nordicité is the first show in a creative five-year cycle (2015-2019) which includes expeditions to different northern regions; creating two shows and short films using puppet and shadow theatre; writing short stories; artistic mediation workshops; and a digital platform available free of charge.

This performance is presented in French
