Indoor Programming At-a-Glance

BACKBONE ★ by Gravity & Other Myths, Australia
July 5 to 8 and July 10 to 14 at TOHU
In a continuous series of acrobatic lifts, the young Australian creators of the successful A Simple Space break the limits of the human body in a way unthinkable to ordinary people. Unimaginable energy and irresistible charm: a rocket!

A FOOL’S ERRAND ★ by Jamie Adkins, Canada
July 6 to 8 and July 11 to 15 at TOHU
Antidote against melancholy with a virtuoso jester who gives it his all, against all odds! Accompanied by a charismatic musician, his performances, falsely flimsy, describes the delicate balance between chaos and control and skillfully celebrate the art of tricks and comedy.

LE MOBILE ★ by La marche du crabe, Canada
July 7 to 8 and July 12 to 15 at TOHU
A cuddly show that gets babies curled up against their parents to rediscover a well-known universe: the mobile, the enormous kind! In a light-hearted humorous atmosphere, ballads and lullabies set the rhythm for the aerial ballet performed right above their heads!

SISTERS ★ by Les 7 Doigts, Canada
As of July 8 at Theatre Outremont
In this fairy tale immersed in the mesmerizing musical universe of Lhasa de Sela, two sisters who fell under a spell are bound to live together in a magical forest. An enchanting tale both dark and funny which explores the relationship between siblings, the string that shapes us and connects us for life.

SCOTCH & SODA ★ by Company 2, Australia
Presented in collaboration with Festival Just for Laughs
As of July 10 at Theatre St-Denis
★★★★★ The show is unmissable; its world is so alluring, so intoxicating. — THE GUARDIAN, UK

UN POYO ROJO ★ by Un Poyo Rojo, Argentina
July 10 to 14 at Centaur Theatre
With a caricatural game of seduction where communication is conducted by an acrobatic dance a tad provocative, two sexy Argentinians make fun of the courtship ritual while providing a very human glimpse at attraction. From uproarious situations to cartoonish mimics, flirting can take us far… Steaming hot!

CHUTE! ★ by La Volte, France
July 11 to 15 at Le Wilder – Espace Orange
Acrobatic conversation around the theme of the fall, this atypical form brings together its small audience all around its performers, who happily demonstrate their theory by literally taking the plunge. A moment equally philosophical and humorous!

July 5 to 15, MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE will also take the Quartier Latin’s Quartier des Spectacles by storm, punctuating the summer days of residents and tourists with acrobatic magic! The famous Minutes Complètement Cirque will return to a Saint Denis Street transformed into an open-sky circus ring!
