December 4 @ 7:00 pm
A choreographic vibration in space, Cosmic Love opens up a world where different forms of energy are shared. Performers and audience members are brought together in the weightlessness of the senses. A subtle, mindful experience.
With Cosmic Love, her first group work, Clara Furey expands her rich, highly original practice, inviting viewers into a stripped-down performance space that investigates the radiance of bodies. In collaboration with composer Tomas Furey, lighting designer Alexandre Pilon-Guay and a quartet of performers, she offers a work that revolves around intuitive and poetic representations of physical phenomena and sparks a hyper-awareness of the senses.
In questioning the vacuum of space and all its inherent links and dynamics, the choreographer creates a hypnotic choreographic work, a piece in constant transformation where all forms of communication become possible. Clara Furey considers art a means to connect different entities around a spirituality that is free of dogma; with Cosmic Love, she forges links between media, beings and senses.
