Laureate of the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2017, the live artist Dana Michel returns with a new work. In this piece, she explores the socio-cultural layers that make her who she is and the buried facets of her personality. Guided by raw energy and an unique physicality, she attempts to extract herself from social conditioning and to face all of its contradictions. Simmering with humour, CUTLASS SPRING positions itself as an ethnography of sexuality and an archaeology of desire.
Presented at Usine C from October 29 - November 2.Find out more »

A production by Phasmahammer presented by the MAI at the Monument-National from October 30 to November 2.Find out more »
