Freshly established Phantom Limb Theatre Company is seeking actors for its upcoming staged reading of THE SPACE BETWEEN, a new one act play about how those we have lost linger among us. THE SPACE BETWEEN will be featured as five performances at the Montreal Fringe Festival between June 10th and 20th, 2021. Auditions will be held over Zoom on Sunday May 16th, with applications being accepted until midnight on Saturday. Actors will be given sides to prepare prior to the audition. Due to the hard limit of six performers, certain actors will be double cast.
The production is currently seeking the following roles (note that the ages correspond the characters and not necessarily to the actors portraying them):
- Estelle Wingrove: 60s. A hardened and spiteful woman.
- Eric Dhawan: 20s. A fellow student and class clown.
- Jonas “Jonesy” Michaels: 40s. A man whose favourite person is his cat who died in 1998.
- Aja Codona: 40s-60s. A spiritual medium and mentor to Gwyn.
To apply to audition, please send your headshot, resume, and a quick blurb about yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org.
