In The Wings Promotions presents Musical Theatre Masterclass Feb. 6

Registration now open for singing and acting masterclass led by Erin Berger and Noelle Hannibal


Looking to take your musical theatre singing and acting skills to the next level? Sign up for In The Wings Promotions‘ online masterclass on February 6th!

This Musical Theatre Masterclass will focus on giving students the opportunity to work on their audition and performance skills and how to better connect to their material. Through individual work with teachers Erin Berger and Noelle Hannibal, the skills learned in this workshop will be applied to songs from the musical theatre repertoire. Students should be prepared for honest feedback and be ready to work in depth on their song selections.

Enrolment in the masterclass is extremely limited and open to participants who will each have one-on-one time with Erin and Noelle.

Ages: 12+

**Participation is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
Participants will work individually with Erin and Noelle and gain useful feedback and coaching on presentation and interpretation. If you would like to register or if you need any additional information, please send an email to masterclass@inthewingspromotions.com. Please include in the subject line “Musical Theatre Masterclass.”

Those participating will need to prepare two contrasting 32 bar cuts of musical theatre songs with a piano or karaoke track or accompany themselves. Full payment will need to be made upon confirmation of participation.



ABOUT ERIN BERGER

Erin Berger is a versatile performer, equally at home in both musical theatre and opera. She has performed throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. Erin made her professional musical theatre debut in Houdini at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. She has also appeared in Inherit the Wind and Pirates of Penzance (Segal Centre for the Performing Arts), Six Degrees of Broadway Separation at New York’s acclaimed Feinstein’s/54 Below, the Canadian premiere of the opera Volpone (Corvina), Hänsel und Gretel (Gretel), The Magic Flute (Papagena), The Turn of the Screw (Flora) and more.

As a well-respected and sought-after voice teacher, Erin has been teaching the performing arts since 2007. She has acted as musical director for various productions including The Wizard of Oz, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid. She has taught classes and given workshops for organizations such as Hudson Theatre Works, the Segal Academy, Stagecoach Performing Arts, and the West Island Theatre Association. Erin holds a Master of Music in Opera, and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance (McGill University), and maintains an active private voice studio.

ABOUT NOELLE HANNIBAL

Originally from Los Angeles, Noelle Hannibal made her professional theatre debut playing Chrissy in Hair, then moved to Ireland to tour the country starring in Lock Up Your Daughters as Hilaret. Select theatre credits include Chicago (Velma Kelly), Gypsy (Mazeppa) South Park (Sheila), Gefilte Fish Chronicles: The Musical (Basha), The Virgin Courtesan (Arielle), Rent (Mimi), Merton of the Movies (Countess), Chess (Florence), The Who’s Tommy (Mrs. Walker), Hair (Sheila) and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak). She has performed multiple times at 54 Below – Broadway’s Supper Club in New York City, alongside many Broadway stars. Film/TV credits include: Star Trek: First Contact, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek: Voyager and Cracker: Mind over Murder.

Noelle performs regularly in concerts, cabarets and theatrical productions, along with appearing as a special guest at Comic Cons around the world. She is passionate about teaching and works closely with several arts education organizations.
