Are you a theatre artist, practitioner, or company (professional, independent, or community) in Quebec who has been impacted by the recent COVID-19 coronavirus developments?
The Quebec Drama Federation (QDF) is working closely with partner organizations, government officials, and funding bodies to organize resources and advocate for the urgent needs of our theatre community at this time, and they are now asking for your help to collect information on your losses.
Whether you are a QDF member, non-member, a cultural worker, a theatre company of any size, an actor, designer, director, etc., the QDF urges you to to fill out the Impact Assessment Form at the links below.
- English-Theatre Individual Artist & Cultural Worker (Freelance) Impact Assessment Form
- English-Theatre Companies (Professional, Independent, & Community) Impact Assessment Form
Don’t forget: keep detailed personal records of your financial losses (actual and projected) that have arisen as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, hold on to any documentation of gig cancellations that occurred due to the outbreak. For a loss-reporting template, click here. For detailed instructions, see the QDF’s “Sample Loss Reporting Spreadsheet” blog post.
