Job Posting: Infinithéâtre seeks Dresser for ‘Fight On!’

Infinithéâtre, Montreal’s Indie English-language theatre company, is seeking a dresser for its upcoming production of “Fight On!”, to be presented at Espace St-Jax from March 16th to 30th, 2020.

This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to learn more about the backstage workings of a theatre production or wanting experience as a dresser. Responsibilities will include pre-show costume checks, quick changes, and small costume maintenance as needed. Applicants must be available from March 9th to 31st.

About the show: “Fight On!” is a one-of-a-kind historical epic inspired by the actual life of Francis (Frank) Jeffrey Dickens. The story follows Frank’s journey to Canada after his famous father’s death where he, with all the prejudices and presumptions of a white colonist/settler, joins the North West Mounted Police. During this sprawling historical epic, Frank Dickens will cross paths with many historical figures and Indigenous Peoples while learning to respect the traditions and wisdom of First Nations culture and beginning to understand the urgent need to live in harmony with Mother Nature.
