Fringe hit ‘Don’t Read the Comments’ revived at Centaur’s 2020 Wildside Festival

Critically acclaimed piece on sexual assault and consent returns to the stage Jan. 14-18

Following its sold-out run at the Montreal Fringe and its remount at the Segal Centre, Sermo Scomber Theatre’s critically acclaimed production comes to the Centaur Theatre’s Wildside Festival, January 14-18, 2020.

Set at a TV talk show, Don’t Read the Comments delves into the “grey areas” of sexual encounters and consent. Through the dark art of clown and bouffon and the power of true storytelling, the show invites you to look into its warped mirror and confront what you see staring back.
