The McGill University Department of English – Drama & Theatre has announced it will be holding auditions for its mainstage winter 2020 production of ‘POMONA’, written by Alistair McDowall and directed by Professor Sean Carney, on November 13th and 14th, 2019.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Ollie’s sister is missing. Searching desperately, she finds all roads lead to the desolate concrete wasteland called Pomona. Here, in the abandoned heart of the city, journeys end and nightmares are born.
A sinister and surreal thriller from Alistair McDowall, Pomona received its professional premiere at the Orange Tree Theatre, London, on 12 November 2014 in a critically acclaimed production. The Independent wrote that the play was ‘Brilliantly creepy and compelling, . . . The piece remains forever slippery about recognising evil.’
