MONTREAL, October 3rd, 2019. Lakeshore Players Dorval is proud to present the first production and first ever musical of its 55th season of community theatre. Nunsense, The Musical by Dan Goggin will be performed from November 14-23, 2019 at Lakeside Academy.
Winner of “Best Off Broadway Musical” in its original New York production, Nunsense, The Musical is the story of a hilarious fundraising show staged by five survivors at the Little Sisters of Lachine nunnery, the rest of the sisterhood having succumbed to botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by the convent chef, Sister Julia, Child of God.
The cast in alphabetical order is: Ashley Dunn (Sister Mary Leo), Candace Holder (Sister Mary Hubert), Julia Lemire (Sister Mary Amnesia), Sylvia Mauri (Mother Superior, Sister Mary Regina), and Stephanie von Roretz (Sister Robert Anne).
The creative team behind the production is led by Corey Castle (Director/Choreographer) and Corina Vincelli (Musical Director) and includes J.C. Olivier (Set Designer), Bill Fletcher (Set Construction), Linda Shesko (Stage Manager), Melanie Desjardins (Assistant Stage Manager), Eric Sauvé (Sound Design), Adam Walters (Lighting Design), Karen Pearce (Costume Design), Rebecca Cavanagh (Property Mistress), Liana Cutler (Board Operator), Charyl Hyndman (Co-Producer), and Jim Voysey (Co-Producer).
