Audition Notice: Acts to Grind Theatre presents “HAMalot”

Auditions: August & September 2019 | Performances: Spring 2020

CASTING CALL for HAMalot – a Shakespeare After Dark touring series presented in the spring season of 2020 by Acts To Grind Theatre. Production directed by Davyn Ryall.

HAMalot is an adaptation of Billy Shakes’ “Hamlet” – a.k.a William Shakespeare’s “HAMLET, The Tragedy Of The Prince of Denmark”, the tale of a man who could not make up his mind. It is the Bard’s most famous piece and arguably the most popular play in the English literature canon in existence. This laugh-out-loud, side splitting comedy farce à la Mel Brooks is an absurd adaptation penned by GhostWriter. You don’t have to be an avid fan of Shakespeare or even know of his original play to have fun and enjoy this parody.
