MONTRÉAL, March 19, 2019. After travelling across the globe, sweeping audiences and critics all around the world, LES 7 DOIGTS will end their international tour of BOSCH DREAMS right at home, as the MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE opening performance! Presented by Radio-Canada in collaboration with Desjardins, the fantastic journey into the universe of Dutch painter Jérôme Bosch will be performed for the first time in Montréal at the Pierre-Mercure Hall, July 4 to 11, 2019. Tickets are now on sale at TOHU’s ticket office, by phone at 514- 376-8648 or via montrealcompletementcirque.com.

BOSCH DREAMS, a tribute to the artist who inspired Dalí as well as Jim Morrison, unfolds over a backdrop of projections with magical realism where strange creatures and fabulous animals come to life. Thanks to the mastery of various digital techniques and brilliant aerial acts, the audience dives into Bosch’s enlivened scenes, and gets immersed into a fantastic and unique world. “Spectators will really feel as if they were on a journey inside the paintings, between two universes,” says Ange Potier, the man behind the masks, costumes and video animations. Intertwining moments from the life of the famous painter and various facets of his unique work becomes a journey through a supernatural universe of captivating beauty.

“Hieronymus Bosch wasn’t only one of many painters. His works of art left a mark on the history of painting and surrealism, which emerged hundreds of years after his passing. With his depictions of fantasy worlds, indecent monsters and flying creatures, he was also a massive source of inspiration to Salvador Dalí. To me, no other form of art than circus could have given life to his universe!”
– Samuel Tétreault, creator, artistic director and director

BOSCH DREAMS, which premiered in Copenhagen in September 2016 to mark the 500th anniversary of the painter’s death, is a creation by Samuel Tétreault, co-artistic director of Les 7 Doigts, produced in collaboration with Copenhagen’s Theatre REPUBLIQUE.
