FIMIIDO is currently looking for a group of talented individuals for its upcoming stage production “Bath/Ory”, written and directed by Frankie-nominated Victoria Dudley.
We are looking for eight actors and one female dancer. Anyone is welcome to audition, but we put an emphasis on supporting upcoming artists who are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a professional theatre program.

“Bath/ory” is a multidisciplinary piece that centres around two pivotal times of Elizabeth Bathory’s life, the most prolific woman serial killer of all times.
Auditions: January 31st, 3:30pm-8pm and February 2nd, 1-6pm
Preparation: It is advised to arrive fifteen minutes prior to the start time. Please prepare one (1) dramatic contemporary monologue. Monologues should be kept between 1-3 minutes long. Please prepare a short 30 second song to be performed acapella.
Callbacks will be taking place later in the month. You will be notified in advance by email if you will need to attend.
Group Dance Auditions: February 1st, 6pm-8pm
Preparation: It is advised to arrive fifteen minutes prior to the start time to stretch if needed. A warmup and technique portion of the audition will be led by the choreographer followed by a short contemporary/jazz combo. Please dress in fitted clothing/dance wear you can move around in. If you have long hair, have it tied back and away from your face. For shoes, either foot undeez, jazz shoes, lyrical shoes, ballet slippers or bare feet are acceptable. NO socks.

Show Dates: There will be 6 performances scheduled between June 6th-16 at the 2019 Montreal St-Ambroise Fringe Festival. Specific performance dates and times TBD.
Application Deadline: January 30th, 2019
Standard Auditions will take place on a Thursday and a Saturday. We will try to make accommodations for as many people as possible. Please include in your email if there is a date and time you would prefer, but be aware that we will be assigning times by a first come first serve basis. We ask you only send in a recommendation if absolutely necessary. If you do not show up for your allotted time, we have the right to skip your audition, and you will be moved to the end of the line if there is time available. Auditions should last no longer than 10 minutes.
Dance auditions are separate from Standard auditions, and are for one specific character: SW (The Dancer). You will not be needed for the Dance Audition unless you are specifically auditioning for this character. You will not need to go to the standard audition if you only want to be considered for SW. The Dance Audition will be Thursday, February 1st at 6-8pm. You will be needed for the entire time. There are no other dates available.
