Youtheatre presents special public performance of immersive piece ‘State of Nature’ on February 9th

On February 9th, 2018, Youtheatre presents a special public performance of its latest interactive and immersive piece for teens and young adults, State of Nature.

Based on the myth of Robinson Crusoe, State of Nature is an interdisciplinary, interactive piece, performed by 5 audience members on an inflatable sculpture. Devised by playwright Gabriel Plante (2016 Recipient of the Gratien-Gélinas awarded by the CEAD), director Vincent de Repentigny (OFFTA Festival, LA SERRE – arts vivants) and visual artist Maude Arès (projets hybris), State of Nature asks its teen audience to imagine what their ideal society would look like.

If you could construct a new world, would you re-create the society you already live in? Or would you imagine something new?
