d² productions presents The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble, by Canadian and award-winning playwright Beth Graham, directed by Dale Hayes.
The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble is about the tricky nature of family dynamics and the effects Alzheimer’s has on a family. Honest, revealing and darkly funny, it is a heartbreaking portrait of a family in crisis. Runs 90 minutes with no intermission
Bernice Trimble (can play 55+). The matriarch of the Trimble family. She is recently widowed. She calls a family meeting to break the news that she has early onset of Alzheimer’s to her three adult children. She’s still as lively and vivacious as ever, always up for a good laugh, and, most of all, ready to finally put herself first.
