The Quebec Drama Federation presents
With Liz Valdez
December 3rd, 2017
MainLine Theatre (MiniMain)
Give yourself the best chance possible!
In this workshop, you will get feedback on your monologue and tips to help you better prepare for the audition process.
Learning outcomes are:
– Grounding and vocal warm up
– How to be playful and prepared
– Find your strongest choices in executing your monologue
– Understand action and imagery
For the workshop, pick a monologue that shows YOU – this means, pick something that speaks to you intuitively, emotionally, and that you will have FUN doing/discovering/playing. Know your monologue inside and out. Come dressed in comfortable and flexible movement clothing and bring water and snacks.
