Montreal, October 26th, 2017– d² productions is proud to be exclusively producing works by Canadian playwrights, with an emphasis on emerging artists. This fall, the theatre company opens its season with Late Company by Canadian playwright Jordan Tannahill, presented at the MainLine Theatre (3997 Blvd. St-Laurent) from November 8 to 19, 2017.
“Is it possible to save a vulnerable child if their hurt is a secret?” Late Company is a powerful new drama that delves into the shattering aftershocks of bullying, homophobia, mental health, and teen suicide. It’s a poignantly relevant contemporary story of forgiveness, accountability and reprisal. It’s cluttered, unsettling, funny, and before our eyes we witness grief move to healing.
Directed by Dale Hayes, Late Company features an intergenerational cast of local Montreal actors Helena Levitt, Sterling Mawhinney, Anthony Schuller, Leigh Ann Taylor, and Nick Walker
