Audition Notice: Lakeshore Players presents Molière’s “Tartuffe”

Audition dates: August 15 & 17 | Performances: November 2 to 11.

This fall season community theatre troupe Lakeshore Players Dorval presents Molière’s Tartuffe, translated by David Nicholson, directed by Corey Castle. The play will run at Lakeside Academy in Lachine from November 2nd to November 11th, 2017.

Synopsis: Fooled and foiled? One of Molière’s most famous theatrical comedies will be featured this year at the Stratford Festival and at Lakeshore Players Dorval! Orgon, a wealthy businessman, entrusts his reputation and fortune to a self-professed man of God, Tartuffe. As the cunning and lustful impostor manoeuvres himself deeper into his household and his family, Orgon’s world gets turned hilariously upside-down.

Auditions are walk-in and will be held at the Chalet of Parc St-Charles, in Dorval, on Tuesday August 15th (7pm) and Thursday August 17th (7pm). Come either day, or both if you’re up for it! Call backs, if necessary, will be Tuesday, August 22nd (7pm).
