Devised by Vincent de Repentigny
Maude Arès & Gabriel Plante

February 12 ― 23, 2018

Based on the myth of Robinson Crusoe, State of Nature is an interdisciplinary, interactive piece, performed on an inflatable sculpture. Devised by playwright Gabriel Plante, director Vincent de Repentigny and visual artist Maude Arès, State of Nature asks its teen audience to imagine what their ideal society would look like. Available in English and in French.

If you could construct a new world, would you re-create the society you already live in? Or would you imagine something new?

Presented by Youtheatre in collaboration with the artists on school tour in the Montreal region.
