Raise the Stakes Theatre presents

Directed by Anton Golikov

The ancient Greek tragedy of Antigone is the tragedy of humanity. A cycle of violence continues to feed itself through the edicts issued by Creon, the absolute power of the state. A woman rises to question the “law of man” and is sentenced to death. There is no common ground except that to which we will all one day return. Listen to the dead, their voice is clearest:

Seek reconciliation, else your destruction is assured.
